Lake communities
Calgary's lake communities, one by one.
From the city's very first lake in the late 1960s to its newest in Mahogany, each lake community has its own character. Here's my guide to all of them.
The Lake Ledger
In the order they were built.
Every lake is private and run by its residents' association, with beaches, programs and, in most, winter skating. The fee comes with the home, and so does the lifestyle.
